In its eighth year, LOOP has established itself as an international meeting point for people interested in video art and an annual event that attracts a large number of contemporary art professionals to Barcelona.
FairPlay has been invited to present the festival within Loop.

The work “Alias” ( 2004, DigiBeta on dvd, colour, 7′) by Aldo Runfola presented the first time at FairPlay 2007 edition in Berlin, participated at the above mentioned event in Rome curated by Piero Pala, in the section “resistenza antropologica”, just finished few days ago, www.complusevents.com

A selection of films which participated in the present and past editions of FairPlay Film & Video Award will be shown in Varna, Bulgaria, in occasion of the Product Festival 2008.
Latest pruductions and co-productions of our major sponsor:
“Attica” by Manon de Boer, a film about the homonym music piece by Frederic Rzewski and about the rebellion in the prison Attica in the US; “Com Viet” by Anita di Bianco: a film about French writer Marguerite Yourcenar and her reflections on Love (this film will be on the website in the next days); “The Undercover special Agent” by Rossella Biscotti: still in production, but will be ready in October. A documentary in noir style about undercover agent Joseph Pistone, who discovered the secrets of New York mafia as Donnie Brasco; “August” by Mona Vatamanu & Florin Tudor: the fictional continuation of the Romanian film Imposibila Iubire, a reflection about Romania in post-communist time.
“Dead Satellites” by Shahram Entekhabi: a trilogy about love and role-play in love couples.
